Investment Arbitration plays a crucial role in the resolution of disputes arising in the field of international investments. A major barrier in attracting foreign direct investment and stimulating cross-border trade is lack of investor confidence in effective and efficient ways to resolve commercial disputes and enforce resulting decisions.

As a rapidly evolving area of law, Investment Arbitration is becoming increasingly essential for states, businesses, and legal professionals worldwide. Program Highlights:

The Certificate Course on International Investment Arbitration, aims to provide participants with a deep understanding of investment arbitration principles, procedures, and practices. The program will be conducted over 2 days, offering in-person training to enhance learning experience and interaction.

Experienced and highly knowledgeable national and international trainers, including Mr. Friedrich Rosenfeld, Partner at Hanefeld at Paris and Global Adjunct Professor of Law at NYU Paris, a dispute resolution boutique with offices in Hamburg and Paris, Dr. Kabir Duggal, attorney in Arnold and Porter's New York office and also a Lecturer-in-Law at Columbia Law School and adjunct Professor at Fordham Law School, New York and Mr. Anil Xavier, President of Indian Institute of Arbitration & Mediation and Chairman of Asia Pacific Centre for Arbitration & Mediation, will guide you through the program.

This APCAM certified training program ensures that participants receive international accreditation upon successful completion.

Successful participants will qualify as "Certified Investment Arbitrators," eligible for empanelment with Indian Institute of Arbitration and Mediation (IIAM) and the Asia Pacific Centre for Arbitration and Mediation (APCAM).

Eligibility & Certification:

The program is open to legal professionals, including Lawyers, Chartered Accountants, Company Secretaries, Engineers, and individuals with graduate-level education.

Participants will engage in assignments to enhance their practical understanding of investment arbitration. Attendance, interaction, and successful completion of assignments will contribute to the awarding of a certificate, accompanied by a course transcript.
