IIAM Mediators:

With the skill of an excellent mediator and the willingness of each of us to communicate, we have resolved conflicts and that resolution is as strong today as it was years ago. But it takes courage and patience to take up the responsibility of becoming a mediator. Apart from the acceptance and honour given by the community, it also gives absolute satisfaction of becoming peace builders in our community. People from a wide variety of backgrounds can make good mediators. They have to have the fear of God, and a concern for humanity, and be guided by love and stand for peace. They are respected and command an audience. They are, above all, trusted.

Internationally and Nationally accredited Mediators are empanelled as IIAM Mediators. As per the IIAM Mediator Accreditation System, Mediators are categorized as Grade A to Grade D. Mediators are entitled for upgradation based on the IIAM Qualifying Assessment Programs (QAP). IIAM empanelled Mediators are bound by the IIAM Mediators’ Code of Professional Conduct.

IIAM is the approved institution by the International Mediation Institute (IMI) at the Hague, Netherlands for Experience Qualification Path for Mediators in India. IIAM is the only institution in India approved as a “Qualifying Assessment Programme” (QAP) for IMI Certification. Accredited Grade B Mediators of IIAM are eligible for IMI Certification.

imi

IMI Certification entitles Mediators to upload their Profile onto the IMI web portal and therefore to be recognized and included among the world's most competent mediators and be searchable by a vast number of users worldwide. This will give Mediators endorsed by IIAM a much greater opportunity to be appointed as mediator in international disputes.

If you are a person with integrity, impartiality and trained in mediation as per the training standards prescribed in IIAM QAP and if you wish to be empanelled as IIAM Mediator, please furnish your particulars indicating your qualifications, area of specialization in service/ business/ profession, your precise experience*, trainings/ specialization in arbitration etc. to IIAM.
