IIAM Community Mediation Clinics

Like to become a Community Mediator?

Are you willing to become a Community Mediator for our clinics? It takes courage and patience to take up the responsibility of becoming a mediator. It’s a leadership skill that is well worth developing and honing. Apart from the acceptance and honour given by the community, it also gives absolute satisfaction of becoming peace builders in our community.

Who qualifies to become a community Mediator? People from a wide variety of backgrounds can make good mediators – retired people, house wives, professionals, youth etc. Basically they have to have the fear of God, a concern for humanity, passion for mediation, and be guided by love and stand for peace. They are respected and command an audience. They have the experience in doing service. They are, above all, trusted.

IIAM offers free orientation for mediators. The Training programs at IIAM offer you the opportunity to learn what is necessary to become a mediator yourself. The orientation programs will be conducted by the Mediation Committee in association with IIAM. For details contact your nearest Community Mediation Committee or contact IIAM.
